Bleh was responsible for closing the office up last night. This morning, the janitor told me the front door was left open. As in, propped open. ALL NIGHT. The janitor had called the police when she arrived around 4am or so, and they took a report. Nothing was stolen or tampered with, but anyone could have just strolled right in. Crazy, right?
I'm not sure what's going to happen to Bleh because of her gross incompetence. It's kind of a big deal to just leave the place wide open like that. I'm not her supervisor, so I have no say in what happens. I will, of course, let you know when I find out.
UPDATE: Like I figured, she's not getting into any trouble. She said the alarm system at the backdoor didn't show that the front door was open, so she left thinking everything was locked up. Well, that may be that, but she should at least be reprimanded somehow for not checking ALL the doors before she left the building. Gawd! It's just common sense: when you know you're the last person to leave, you should check to make sure everything is the way it should be before you go.
Geez! She's been milking this whole "Woe is me, I made a big mistake, please feel sorry for me..." shit all day long. Thankfully it's Friday and I don't have to deal with her for 48+ glorious hours. Seems she's going to be a thorn in my side for the foreseeable future.

Hopefully the supervisor says 'bleh-bye' to her, and you can go back to your job with the knowledge that the Hillbilly Robinsons are gone for good!
