No, Bleh was not sanctioned for leaving the door wide open. Turns out she was telling the truth about the back door's alarm system display: it didn't show that the front door was open, so she left, thinking it was. Maintenance has fixed the problem.
Now, readers and I both know Bleh's an idiot regardless of circumstance. She should have checked the freakin' front door regardless of what some digital display said. Needless to say, this is just another example of how The Stupid just luckily slide through life while the rest of us actually have to work hard.
Oh, and this morning she point-blank asked me where I was going after she looked at the department calendar and saw I'd be taking a couple hours off this afternoon. I gave her a nice but vague reply, she pushed her nose back in, so I gave her a second vague reply, then she had the nerve to KEEP PRODDING so I finally told her it was none of her damned business. Not all of us like to broadcast every detail of our lives, unlike some people.
Then she left to go "get coffee" for 20 minutes. Geez.
