He's here. He's whispering. He wants hot cocoa. He wants the sound turned on on the computer he's using (!). He can't speak in a normal voice.
Why bring the child to the office if you and he are just going to 'pretend' like he's not there? Clearly he is. He's whispering and clacking away on a keyboard. Now he's crinkling a cellophane wrapper. Next thing you know, he'll be huffing on an inhaler or bouncing a ball on the wall.
Geez. Monday. With a kid.

I can top that. My annoying coworker brings her dog to the office where no pets are allowed. The reason she does it.....the dog might get scared at home by himself. Does the mgr say anything to her? NO! She's psycho! Here's an idea.....quit your job and stay at home WITH the paranoid dog and let someone that's sane have a job!
I understand completely. But I understand where the kid is comming from. When my mother would let me come to work with her, the place was so quiet that I felt like I NEEDED to whisper. But obviously, I do not understand how ohld this child is, and I don't know your working enviornment.
My point is, work is no place for a child to be, even on "Take Your Child to Work" Day.
