Bleh's daughter is at ballet camp for her third summer in a row. Yes, it's the same camp that the Daughter calls from all day long, in tears, wanting to come home or complaining that she's not as pretty as the other campers....etc, etc, etc. You know, things we here in the office really give a f*ck about.
Of course, since Bleh just got back today after dropping said kid off at camp she has been yapping on the phone all morning trying to calm the nerves of her insecure offspring. (Shouldn't the kid be in some sort of camp workshop or something....??)
Ya know, if I had a kid and that kid had separation anxiety like her kid obviously does, I wouldn't send said kid to another state for 2 weeks every year! I certainly wouldn't send her AND complain about how much the kid calls but how much I miss her every day for two weeks. Or I would send the kid, tell her to suck it up, and enjoy two weeks off from teenage whining. But that wouldn't get much attention or sympathy in the workplace, so I can see why Bleh wouldn't go for that.
Readers will be relieved to know I do not own a firearm.
