Bleh's been making multiple phone calls today to various doctors and lab techs, chatting loudly about her test results and scheduling second visits. Apparently she wants everyone to know that she's getting tested for the same malady that unfortunately visited another colleague recently. Oh, and that there was a "shadow" on one of her X-rays.
Usually I'd say this was a smart thing to do; however, in Bleh's case it's just another pathetic cry for attention. I would say I've lost some respect for Bleh, but I never had any for her to begin with.

Too bad there is no malady of, say, contagious laryngitis. That'd be AWESOME. The Bleh here has been much better, but still can't resist her phone calls when the director is out of the office.
My friend pointed me to your blog, and I have to say that I frakkin love it!
While I absolutely adore my co-workers, the problems I have are more with the "clients". I work in education and deal with admissions so I can't really vent too much in total public about the frustrations I have (my livejournal friends only account is the only place I can vent freely without risk of losing my job).
Bleh reminds me of many, many of the people I deal with daily. And...we actually do have a guy who works with us who has a weird cough thing that gets louder if you don't pay him attention. He even accepts angry glares. I guess when you're sad and lonely anything will do.
