The Importance of being Bleh

Bleh announced to the Sup yesterday that since she decided for herself to take only half-lunches this week, she was going to leave early today. Um, thanks for telling us? Whatever happened to requesting time off? Ohhhh...that's right, Bleh doesn't have to do that. She's an almighty clerk who can do whatever the fuck she wants. Like yak on the phone for 20 minutes this morning with someone about how she can't meet them this weekend because she doesn't want to use up her precious gas (by driving into town from her BFE residence). Very work-related.

On the bright side, she will be leaving early which will allow my skin to stop crawling earlier than usual on a weekday. I can even remove my earphones for a while. Silver linings for everyone!

Update from your parallel universe: My Bleh also leaves early and slides out and has been working an average of 7 hours a day. It wouldn't be so bad if she could remain semi-silent, but her phone usage has gone dramatically up. I can even hear her non-stop yammering through my headphones unless I risk damaging my ears by blaring her out.

And. It gets worse.

I walked into my boss's office last week and lo and behold. Bleh seriously kissing the arse of our beloved leader, all in the name of "work".

Anyway, I certainly wish you luck in your quest for tuning out the Bleh Effect. I am seemingly unable to do so, and the managers here apparently are oblivious or they don't care she is alienating the entire group.
