annoying coworker The Chronicles of Bleh: My Annoying Coworker: I'm a big girl now

I'm a big girl now

Remember that movie, Working Girl? Well, Bleh, like Melanie Griffiths' character, thinks herself a clerk who can move up through the ranks despite her atrocious wardrobe and cloying little-girl voice. In fact, if there ever was a movie made about Bleh, Ms Griffiths would be the perfect actor to portray her boring life.

I can't help but roll my eyes. Bleh is at this moment gushing at the supervisor for letting her do a task that clerks don't usually do. But since Bleh is an annoying overachiever who has to be involved in everything in this office right down to a whispered conversation across the room, I'm not all that surprised.

Her whole "I think I can I think I can" routine may appear sweet and proactive on the outside, but ultimately it's just her need to be the center of attention that's really the core motivator here.

Isn't that the movie where Melanie Griffith's character slept with Harrison Ford's character before he knew she was on the low end of the totem pole?
Does Harrison Ford work with you?

OMG my Bleh has been on the phone probably a total of 8 hours this week on personal calls. She's loud, and never ever seems to let the other person on the phone speak. And we've had episode 3 of where she's on the company phone with a personal call, then takes a call on her cell phone, talking on TWO phones.

Can I borrow your human cannon? I am relegated to wear my headphones, which of course I can hear her nonstop, incessant gibberish through.

And Harrison Ford wouldn't work here, either. :( Unless he brought his blaster and pretended she was Greedo.
